TAT promotes Thailand as a destination for Golf, Gastronomy and Sports Tourism. Phuket is on the rise to the world's top travel destinations www.lifeoutloudofficial.comTourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is driving Phuket to become the world’s leading travel destination for Golf and Gastronomy.  The province and its neighbour Phang Nga will also host various not-to-be-missed international sports events in the next coming months.

TAT Deputy Govenor for Marketing Communications Mr. Tanes Petsuwan stated in the press briefing of Thailand Golf Travel Mart (TGTM) 2018 that Thailand excels at delivery a world-class golf experience in the diversity of courses, facilities and amenities as well as in unique local experiences for golfers.  He also added that Thai cuisine is also a highlight among international golfers and travellers.  As a result, TAT will be promoting β€œGolf and Gastronomy” soon after the first Michelin Guide for Bangkok, Phuket and Phang Nga which is to be launched later this year.

Not only the TGTM 2018 would enhance Thailand’s position as the world’s leading golf destination, but there are also a few sport- related events being held later this year which will strengthen the country’s reputation as a world’s sport tourism destination.
