Panviman Resort & Spa | KOH PHANGAN – THAILAND

While Koh Phangan is most famous for its Full-moon party, we were seeking a quiet and relaxing escape on our visit there.  After having looked through several resort options, I decided to go for one of the island’s first luxury resorts namely Panviman Resort Koh Phangan.

Panivman Resort is located on the hill on the South end of Nai Pan Noi beach, but parts of the resort also stretch down onto the beachfront.  This beach is widely known to as the island’s most peaceful and rather high-end beach with several 4 and 5 star beachfront resorts.  The is the area idea for couple getaways or a family vacation.  Pavinman Resort sits on the hill which protrudes into the sea.  For this reason, the resort is possibly one of the best view points on the island, and their million dollar view point also allows guests to see the view of 2 bays.

The small pools come in different levels on the ground, allowing guests to rest at the edge of the pools and enjoy the tropical view and vibe at various levels.  The large pool is right by the edge of the hillside, and it is the best place to spoil oneself with the view of the endless horizon.

We booked a pool villa for 2 nights.  The room itself is around 50 sq.m. in size, but the outdoor area was very spacious, comprises of the balcony, private pool and a jacuzzi.

Pan Sea restaurant where the resort’s guests have breakfast every morning offers a large varieties and cuisines (eg. Lebanese, Moroccan, etc.) including so many vegetarians and vegan options (for example, homemade humous, falafels, couscous, roasted mediterranean vegetables, baked spinach with cheese, beetroot salad, etc.).

This is great option for travellers who are looking for complete relaxation and privacy.  It has all the facilities one would expect from a decent resort, and the staff team also kept us happy at all times during our stay there.
