Pai Canyon Sunset Hike | PAI – THAILAND
A fun place for a little hike with a stunning view
Pai canyon, or “Kong Laen” as how the locals call it, is a small-ish canyon only 8km South of Pai town. This is a great place for a quick hike, as you will get a truly stunning panoramic view of raw nature (our photos don’t really do justice!).
This was definitely our one of our favourite spots in Pai, especially for sunset (we reckoned it would be too hot during the day as there were no shades).
OUR TIPS
- As the trails are uneven and quick steep in some parts, it’s best to wear walking shoes, or flip-flips/sandals with straps.
- If you stay there for sunset, make sure you have a torch for your walk back up to the entrance from wherever you end up on the canyon. It gets very dark there after sunset (how surprising?!).
